I'm seeing an interesting style among young men who realize they are expected to carry their weight in the parenting department, but don't seem to think they should have to. So they've developed what one might call Hapless Superiority. "My [year-old, say] daughter can outwit me already," they pronounce, meaning he's smart (having a smart baby)—but he's not responsible for doing anything about it.
