Just when I thought I had the whole day to myself, first my email went wonkers & I took careless stabs at it wherever I could find a place so I messed it up more, & then suddenly it worked fine, better than ever. Then I hung out with some friends visiting. Then it got cold & I had to go buy toothpaste & toilet paper. Then I had to debrief with Martha about last night's fantastic, inspiring reading: man, I want to be as hungry at 80 as Basil King & as stylish & precise as Hettie Jones. Then some work came in, much later than expected. Then my boyfriends from Chabad stopped by as they usually do on Friday. And then somehow the day had fled & I hadn't done half of what I intended. But it was very very nice.
